Having the Endoscopic work certificate of the Department of Surgical Endoscopy given by Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Kurt has been performing Colonoscopy and Gastroscopy since 2005. Performing studies in the field of Breast Cancer and its treatment in the C service of Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Kurt used Laser and Rafeelo methods under local anesthesia. Afterwards, he treats hemorrhoids with the MDK method he developed himself.
Dr. Kurt, who helped many hemorrhoid patients to regain their health with this method, without surgery, without anesthesia and with a short procedure that will take 15 minutes; It provides services in the fields of Obesity Surgery, Metabolic Surgery, Anal Fissure, Anal Fistula, Goiter, Colon Cancer, Breast Diseases, Gallbladder and Hernia Surgery. Dr. Kurt, who has improved himself in the field of Medical Aesthetics in addition to all these areas; It also provides services in the fields of Botox, Filler, PRP, Thread Suspension, Mesotherapy, Varicose Veins Treatment and Nevus & Wart treatments.

Became Professor of Otorhinolaryngology- Head& Neck Surgery in 2015. He used to work in Acıbadem Maslak Hospital, Istanbul, until 2021.

Became physician-in-chief of Department of Otorhinolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery, Istanbul Bilim University, Medical Faculty in 2012 and held this position till November 2013.

Became Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngoloy- Head&Neck Surgery in 2010, at the age of 35. In the same year, he succeeded written and oral examinations which were held in Pamplona, Spain and Wien, Austria, and was one of the first Turkish physicians to be Fellow of European Board of Otorhinolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery. Then had a scholarship from Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, Boston, USA, and joined an observership program.

Did his military service in Department of Otorhinolaryngology- Head& Neck Surgery, Ankara GATA which is a Military School of Medicine, and afterwards continued to work in Istanbul Bilim University.

Prof. Dr. M. Güven GÜVENÇ has 43 scientific published article. He is the writer of 5 chapters in scientific books. He gave lectures in many national and international meetings, mainly on aesthetic and functional nose surgery. His scientific papers had over 180 citations. He is one of the reviewers of ‘Laryngoscope’, which is a very respected journal in Ear, Nose & Throat.
Beside medicine, he is also interested in foreign languages and etymology, literature, music, photography and travelling.
